I don't know.

But the consensus seems to be that too many of us are taking the use of free software for granted.

And it may just be that the developers of #Obsidian prefer the closed source approach, while at the same time providing everyone with the opportunity to use their product.

Obsidian and Linux user here. Of course I would prefer it if Obsidian could just be OpenSource-ed. Like Zettlr.

But I am not the one having to find a way to pay the developer's bills at the end of this month.

So I guess the attitude that is on display must be #TheNextBestThing!
