    @apropos I mostly use adb or ftp. Although I have been using mtp more lately because it's faster to reach on foan side.
    It'd be nice if it were just always on, I won't plug my foan into a computer that I don't want accessing my files, come on.

    bath enter and food feeding to give want"
    A more natural phrasing of it is "I want to bathe and feed this exhausted child", or if you want to preserve the lines, "this exhausted child, I want to bathe and feed".
    The key point being that the second line, a complete sentence on its own, includes no pronouns, not even "I" (but the "want" part is pretty much exclusively used in reference to yourself). The "him" in the translation was made up by Google.

    Japanese does have gendered pronouns but it also has genderless pronouns for all the same phrasings, so even if a pronoun were used, the literal translation would usually come out as singular they, which sounds pretty stilted in English; as much as I'm a fan of literal translation, that's one of the things I'm willing to compromise on: If the reader should know the intended gender of the pronoun's target, I'll use it. If it's intended to be a secret from the reader then I'll go with singular they; which, if someone's aware I do that, will give away that such a secret exists, but whatever. Translation is an art.

    (Though I should declare that I'm only like N4ish, so I'm hardly a "translator" - I should get to at least N2 before calling myself that. Eg. the picture I posted was a word I didn't know; though I at least recognised the first kanji from the common phrase 疲れた, "I'm tired".)

    And, of course, they're extremely zealous about answering her every whim, lest they be purged.
