As much as I like the fediverse, the web clients of mastodon/lemmy/peertube/etc. are simply too reliant on javascript, which is why I generally use non-web clients. Twitter/Reddit/Youtube all have/had unofficial lightweight web clients that work(ed) without javascript, which is something I miss in the fediverse.
