This line stood out to me the most. When reading a modern dictionary, I can easily learn what a word strictly explains. Contrast that with the examples given in the article, I started to grasp how the words felt. There wasn't just a surgical box cut around a given word, I was given a dissection of that word and shown how it operates and interacts with the expression of its ideas at large.

I'm finding it difficult to express precisely how this difference is making me feel, but to say it gets my wheels turning is an understatement.
