I see quite a few folks with #ADHD here and their struggles to keep up with tasks. I'm #ActuallyAutistic and can find it hard to not feel overwhelmed by what "must" be done resulting in more chaos, more dirt and more things to get #meltdowns about. Sigh…

Using this opportunity to get that off my chest and maybe offer some sort of solution for people like us.

@aral I used Safari (with ad-blocker) yesterday for once to access YT and noticed the same. I use Sudeep Biswas' #Firefox add-on Alter and let any #YouTube link automatically filter through an #Invidious instance. No ads, everything loads quickly, no autoplay if not desired. I still need to test if that way music playlists can run uninterrupted.

Oh, and I live in the EU.
