You might be wondering about the BlueSky bridge thing. This allows you to bridge your account to BlueSky so you can follow users there and they can interact with you (providing the BlueSky user opts in first, but that may change in the future, while the Fediverse side remains opt-in).

It seems that there is a small scale SPAM attack similar to February, doesn’t seem large scale yet.

If you have access to the reject patterns/prohibited words/MRF keyword reject feature, add krsw-wiki (dot) org, 唐澤貴洋, and 荒らし連合軍 to the list of regex patterns.

We made some modifications to our fork of Sharkey, and now viewing the bubble timeline is now possible to view the bubble timeline. Basically, using Sakurajima Social without logging in, you can get a birdeye view of the biggest Japanese media-focused fediverse servers.

To view the timeline, go to sakurajima.social and then click “Have a look at the timeline" You can see the local timeline on Sakurajima Social or the bubble timeline for Sakurajima Mastodon and Urusai Social.

To interact with posts, get the link by clicking the three dots, Copy link (Origin) and paste it in the search box on your homeserver.

The reject patterns are now implemented to deal with the SPAM attacks that is still ongoing. Hopefully this will prevent a majority of SPAM that is coming in.

For admins running their own Glitch-Soc forks can cherrypick the three most recent commits to implement this. This implements @noellabo reject pattern feature for Mastodon 4.2.7

Apparently, this patch doesn't seem to filter posts from Mastodon, but it works with all the *keys and *omma.The spam messages are still going through although the regex is correct.

It may need some fixes.

As a precaution, Sakurajima Social will require a social profile link (e.g. Twitter/Facebook/Instagram/Fediverse profile from a non-blocked server, AniList/MyAnimeList/Kitsu/Anime-Planet, or website) for account approval for the next 48 hours.

Sakurajima Mastodon is unaffected.

This consists of Amazon gift card code scams now. If you see any Private Mentions mentioning this, report the post and the mod team will deal with it.

For now, Mastodon Social will not be limited/silenced.
