    the funny part abut rian doris' business and lecture is he's basically just rediscovered the extreme power of a fully unified self, but through neurology papers instead of through teachings (as the monks) or autodidactic discovery (as the.. actually i don't know what they're called)

    i looked at cell phones again and all the options are direct downgrades.

    from 300-700$, it's just etrash with bigger numbers. 3.5mm? no. SD card? maybe (boox's phone does). keyboard? no.

    technology is done we can safely kill all the tech executives.

    @leo wide angle lenses are a bit of an obscure taste. even photographers don't love them. very silly people (like me) do, and that's knowing that they effectively need post-processing.

    i might accept two transflective lcd screens with a more traditional laptop hinge, in some A6 or A7 shape, because that basically emulates a book and we could do it with some reliability.

    the usefulness is obscure though, as most people no longer read and very few people outside of college both read and pocket annotate, so for the most part i would probably rather just have the phone keyboard back on a slide or a gimbal

    @david i find stickers too precious to actually use on something. i don't so much like impermanent things.

    i've been denied self expression of most kinds for so long that i mostly end up defaulting to very ghost-like things.

    ex. laptop that looks like its just some used business machine, soulless abstract art wallpaper, i am very forgettable :blobcatsnapped:

    as for emulation they've been doing that. sony and ms hired emulator devs to work on those features. nintendo also steals their own roms off rom sites to resell under virtual console lmao
