We got to 1,000 followers pretty quick and started lives every night of the week about mid-August. Less than a week later the nightmare started. An internet security analysis for a local bank in North Carolina came on my live and threatened to hunt me down and put a bullet between my eyes. I contacted the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office only to be told queers don’t matter so they would not investigate. The man lived about an hour and a half from me, but it was not serious to them. 2/6

I see a lot of people who likely never had a #tiktok account talking out of their hind ends about the possible ban. I was on TikTok daily for nearly 4 years. Here is my story:

The first week of August 2020 my #transgender daughter suggested I join TikTok. Her thought was that there were people in the #lgbtqia community quarantining with family who mistreated them and they needed a place to vent and be themselves. I thought it was a great idea so I opened an account. 1/6

But as a #transgender #woman, she is more concerned with the abuse toward her community at this time. The admins need to take a very strong stance against this abuse or risk being closed off from the rest of the #fediverse.

They continue to promote a widespread attack of #transgender individuals labeling them antisemitic in an effort to justify their #transphobia. Many people have contacted me about this situation and to date none of the Admins from mastodon.art have done anything to stop it.
