It's times like this that I hate #mastodon. Being told that calling for an end to #violence against EVERYONE is proof that I would sell out the #LGBT community and other marginalized people is abhorrent. It will further cause violence against those of us working to end violence against all of us. It is disturbing that our community attacks those of us fighting for our rights. So much for acceptance. #enbybishop

I would like to point out that this is the height of transphobia and privilege. “I don’t have to listen to you, I will just do what I think you need me to do to be an ally and you will just like it or else.” That is the same privilege that people of color saw from white people who refused to stand against lynchings while calling for POC to just “be patient”. Meanwhile thousands died. Thousands are dying in this trans pogrom while you ignore it

This quote is talking about you and others who continue to ignore the cry’s of our trans family. You still refuse to call it what it is and that proves Dr. King’s quote applies to you.

I closed my accounts in January of this year. I had lost everything I worked to build. I almost ended my life. Which is what they wanted. Just remember, there is real damage being done on #tiktok and they do NOTHING to stop it. Almost all the accounts that sent threats and abuse are still active. Despite reporting them, TikTok always says there is no violation. If they do this to me, what are they doing to young people? 6/6

I finally closed my wedding ministry to stop some of the emails. I sat at the FBI office in Augusta Georgia begging for help. Since my home is in South Carolina and the church is in Georgia, they took the case. It is still open and has yielded some arrests. However the DOJ is timid when it comes to prosecuting hate crimes against LGBTQIA individuals. My family lost $2000 a month in income and my church lost all its members. They were too afraid to come after all the threats. 5/6

I continued my ministries because we were helping people and the risk to me was acceptable if it meant helping others. It continued to escalate and each week got worse. They #doxxed me. My address, phone number, email all leaked online. Then the phone calls started. Threats, abuse, vile language were common. Groups calls and text messages everyday. Emails everyday. They even used my wedding ministry to email me. (Some screenshots will be posted in the last few posts) 4/6

Then the hardcore #cyberterrorists started coming after me, my family, and my church. They tried to hack into the hospital computer systems at the hospital were I worked as a COVID ICU chaplain. They sent a flood of emails to the hospital alleging that because I and my daughter were #LGBTQIA we were both predators and I would abuse patients. I was fired shortly afterwards. After a protracted battle with the hospital, they agreed to hire me back if I closed my online and in person ministry. 3/6

We got to 1,000 followers pretty quick and started lives every night of the week about mid-August. Less than a week later the nightmare started. An internet security analysis for a local bank in North Carolina came on my live and threatened to hunt me down and put a bullet between my eyes. I contacted the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office only to be told queers don’t matter so they would not investigate. The man lived about an hour and a half from me, but it was not serious to them. 2/6

I see a lot of people who likely never had a #tiktok account talking out of their hind ends about the possible ban. I was on TikTok daily for nearly 4 years. Here is my story:

The first week of August 2020 my #transgender daughter suggested I join TikTok. Her thought was that there were people in the #lgbtqia community quarantining with family who mistreated them and they needed a place to vent and be themselves. I thought it was a great idea so I opened an account. 1/6

I hate to ask, but I don’t know what else to do. Our car insurance and phone bill are due and we need groceries. The cell phone is vital for my wife’s work at the hospital. But as a #transgender #woman, she is more concerned with the abuse toward her community at this time. The admins need to take a very strong stance against this abuse or risk being closed off from the rest of the #fediverse.

#mastodonart Mastodon.art is about be the next #fediblock #instanceblock on our instance. They continue to promote a widespread attack of #transgender individuals labeling them antisemitic in an effort to justify their #transphobia. Many people have contacted me about this situation and to date none of the Admins from mastodon.art have done anything to stop it.

This is sad as it is one of my daughter’s favorite instances as a graphic designer. 1/2

My daughter who is #lgbtq and has #anxiety issues computer died. It is how she supports herself as a graphic designer. She is beside herself right now.
