I am so frustrated, no … angry, no … I am enraged.

#SunshineSadie was attacked twice today at two different parks.

This morning, a German Shepherd - who was at least twice her size - came running up, stalking and harassing her.

When I called to her owner - who wasn’t paying attention at all - to call off his dog, his response was: I don’t tell you how to live your life.

This afternoon, two dogs came running down a steep path out of the woods. Their human was ineffectively calling them. She yelled: they’re friendly dogs! They were not friendly dogs.

They immediately attacked, teeth and claws.

They finally ran back to her after I growl/yelled at them. She put them on a leash and said: they’ve never attacked anyone before.

I told her: I’m sure you are mistaken. She finally reluctantly apologized.

If you are a dog owner, don’t be like this!

@NorcalGma2 We sure have seen a lot of changes during our 66+ years. The thought of going back to those times is horrifying. Forced to be mothers at 12! 14! 16! with no recourse.
I’m always moved by the courage in which you’ve lived a not-always easy life and the ways you’ve scattered blessings around you.

@NorcalGma2 You are so right, we all have challenges and to some extent I think we really do need them. But. Some of the challenges we’ve faced should *never* have existed.
I hope we can create a future like that for all beings.

@MikeDunnAuthor @_L1vY_ He’s buried in Butte Montana, as you probably know. Every year there’s a celebration of his life and his contributions at the gravesite. Butte folks are proud of him.

@RickiTarr I think there are people who conform to the social norms of their particular community - family, religion, political party, employment.
But I don’t think there is any kind of intrinsic normality to humans.
