@Gargron @harrymccracken Yeah, the news wasn’t the rate limits. It was the rate limits that only allowed users to view the site for 10 minutes per day.

@thomasfuchs I agree the comparisons are hasty, but unless I’m missing something (I’m not a lawyer), Mastodon instances have far less access to that data compared to a native app, right?
