Stop spreading misinformation.

A ChatGPT query uses literally less information than the screen you use to view it.

And training an LLM is a one-time cost. We've wasted electricity on way less useful stuff (like light bulbs? Why are they still a thing??)

There are many things that are bad about LLMs (stolen training data, enables fake news, etc.), but climate impact is not one of them.

@lanodan Oooohhh... but not everywhere. In Switzerland prices are getting out of hand. If you get a small apartment for less than 1000€/month you are quite lucky!
