This is coming from me: a guy with gender dysphoria, on HRT for almost 7 years, and who's had surgery.

You don't need ANY of this to be trans, and saying otherwise is also ableist as some folks can't transition physically, even if they'd like to.

Please take a moment to think about it today. Fighting internalized transphobia is important and will make you a better, more understanding person.

Oh, and here's an important reminder!
It doesn't make you less trans if you:

- don't change your name.

- can't/don't want to be on HRT.

- can't/don't want any surgery, or just some.

- don't feel gender dysphoria.

Don't let nobody tell you who you are and what to do with your body.

There's no wrong choice, the good one is to be yourself as much as you can to be happy.

Posted too late local time, but I really wanted to say something about it.

I don't have the energy to explain further on my last sentence, but I could write a whole thread out of it someday.

At the same time, it's your own identity, but also you're not alone, even if everyone lives it differently. You'll always find someone with a gender similar to yours to talk about it, and be friends with.

Community is so important and necessary in this world.

Some other trans reminders:

It's alright to decide not to change your pronouns, or to change it anytime.

It's alright to try names/pronouns to see which ones fit for you. I totally encourage this.

It's alright no matter when you discovered you were trans. As a child, in your 60s...

It's alright to be unsure, and if you need time.

You're trans enough. Nobody can take your identity away from you or know better than you do. :heart_trans:

I'm begging, we really need a new mattress to reduce our chronic pain and breathing issues. I have to stay on meds because of it and want to protect my fiancé, Clyde, and Mitzi soon.

Still have to set the GFM for Mitzi's travel fees as well. It's such a mess, I don't know what picture I should use for it as it's not optional. Not sure how much it will cost. But we still don't have the date so I think it can wait until I have more energy after sleeping to be set up. Too many things to think about, I'm kinda overwhelmed

We're about to adopt my fiancé's grandma's cat because she has to go to a retirement home, we'd REALLY need to change the mattress before, and use the vacuum as I can't lean anymore due to my disabilities.

Thanks if you make it possible, one way or another! We just can't and won't abandon her, and we all need a better environment to live here until we can move out.
