So I stumbled across a kinda, Yomi Layer 1 convo about libertarianism and fascism; a convo I'm not gonna jump into because I'm not a rude fucker and also, they seem to have all gotten to the right place even if the logic used to get there at times made the vein in my forehead punch me.

Personally? I would say that the biggest difference between a fascist, and a Randian libertarian, such as there is a difference at all, is that the fascist acknowledges that the absolute supremacy of property rights MUST be defended by force for the concept to work; even if the fascist is sometimes not prepared to tell you that what he's fighting for is the absolute supremacy of property rights in the first place. The Ayn Rand reader? He is simply lying; to you, to himself, perhaps both.

Finally, before any weird libertarian shows up on my doorstep - I said who I was talking about, I don't need to hear "but you're a libertarian socialist" because I don't use that term, there's an easier one that doesn't help fascists work in public spaces - anarchist.

No I am here to tell you that there is in fact nothing wrong with hating all the rich people and all the fascists. Like all of them. That is in fact the correct way to be.

What I do need to warn you however, is that there will be people who tell you that they hate all the rich people, and all the fascists, and then you will eventually notice that what's really motivating them is a desire to protect their rich people, and their fascists, while turning you lose on the rich people and fascists they consider their enemies. Whether you fall for that or not, is pretty much on you.

I will say tho, I walk in sunlight; so you can just do a little poking around if you're worried that I'm one of those people - I think you'll find that I do in fact, hate all the rich people, and all the fascists.

Now, am I at this moment, SLIGHTLY more preoccupied with some specific rich people, and fascists, in the "Anglosphere" because they are on my TV directly telling people to kill me? Sure. I would say that has actually drawn a bit of my extra attention and focus; as one does when they announce you're going to be pogromed on the evening news.

But I do think you'll find, that I hate all the rich people, and all the fascists; and that it's not actually that hard at all, although it can sometimes be a bit lonely.

The idea that they need 51% of the people is a myth that doesn't survive contact with reality. The idea that they need your support, and denying them will stop it, is a myth that doesn't survive contact with reality. The idea that they can't get away with it, if "everyone knows," is a myth that doesn't survive contact with reality. The idea that they will stop doing the fascism and stop eating the planet if you simply refuse to participate in the process, is a myth that doesn't survive contact with reality.
