You know, I don't have any special insight into how Steve Bannon thinks except that in my work as an antifascist, I've read some of the authors that PoS admires (and I most certainly, do not.)

But I know he thinks you're chumps. And I know he thinks he can use your performative commitment to democracy and the marketplace of ideas to fuck you up. And I know he's honestly not that clever, he just relies on the fact that he's playing a different game than you are.

That's what's happening here. You want to get Biden elected, and defeat the Republican. The RFK Jr campaign isn't about winning, it's about throwing a fucking bomb into your dinner party and seeing if the resulting damage makes you weak enough to lose the ballgame to the fascist in 2024.

The part that blows my mind is that RFK Jr is clearly being sponsored to do exactly what liberals spent like 5 years telling me Bernie Sanders is doing; pulling a portion of their electorate so far out of the equation that they won't even vote, and they're all looking at me like I have 3 heads when I say this is the plan.

Sanders was all about bringing people who probably weren't going to vote, into the party; yeah it was to get himself nominated, but the upshot is you probably keep the voters for life. RFK is trying to get your dogshit reactionary conspiracy wing (and dawg YOU DO HAVE ONE, you SPECIFICALLY COURT REPUBLICAN VOTERS EVERY ELECTION) to absolutely shit the rug, burn things down, and stay home in 2024.

That's what he's here for. He doesn't have to win.

Folks, the libertarians are not describing themselves as AuthCaps. And I am actively incentivized to not tell you who I'm subtweeting because this is a public place and if you can see it, so can they; my life gets annoying and complicated after that - and since I don't actually care if anyone knows, including the person I'm talking about, it's just very low EV for me.
