Unfortunately, my business depends on Meta ads to survive.

And without Instagram, my band wouldn’t reach anyone.

It feels terrible to depend on them, but realistically there isn’t much I can do. It’s where almost 100% of my audience is.

They know this, and that’s why they can do pretty much whatever they want.

I’m looking for an alternative to Basecamp though.

@Gargron I’d say USD25+10 would be more reasonable, but it’s also too big. I’d definitely buy one if it was 10~15cm tall.

@FediFollows I was so excited for @owncast and went to try it just to find out it doesn't support Apple Silicon Macs.

Amidst people mocking who wants to host livestreams on their Macs, they even said they want to drop Mac support altogether. Not cool ☹️
