According to a spokesperson for the U.S. Government Services Administration, Swift’s endorsement post on Instagram led directly to 337,826 people visiting vote.gov.

“As of 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 11, there have been 337,826 visitors to vote.gov referred from the custom URL created and shared by Ms. Swift,” the spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter.

I really want Kamala Harris to be President of the United States. It's not about not wanting the other guy. I want it to be her. We can do this.

I sincerely hope that the Harris Walz campaign continues to ignore the other side as well as the media outlets which generate their headlines based on what the other side says (e.g., WaPo, NYT, lots of cable news channels).

As a left-leaning Gen Xer I have to say that I am deeply disturbed at how some of us are behaving right now.

We have college students in the U.S. who are not only politically aware and active but are willing to risk expulsion, arrest and even physical injury for a cause they believe in and a bunch of us older Democrats are safely sitting at home in front of our computers telling them they're stupid for being angry with Biden.

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?

That's not how you change these kids' minds.

This is especially infuriating to me because it's the EXACT SAME playbook used by Bitcoin miners, who argued (and continue to argue) that Bitcoin mining is actually GOOD for the environment...
