@evan No rush :) Just curious
@evan I had it set up, I would like to use it more - but currently I do not. That said - I do find it very interesting and I'm curious why youre asking
@evan Do you?
I would love a collection of videos that are just "The Story of <x>" where <x> is some web API, or element or anything and it's just like - the people who made it and how it wound up like that. Part of what you'd get in an explainer, but narratively. I would listen to the hell out of that
@evan seems like this particular poll might be just slightly biased 🙂
2025 bkardell.com .... what are you trying to say? _classic_ :)
Opened this box thinking it was some plastic hose i ordered but it was from @jenn and it was my egg candles and a nice note and swag from my friend Jenn! I love them! Go get some at https://bugsrock.online/
This is really the coolest package, it has bugs rock matches and 2 8-bit egg stickers!
I feel like the fact that there is a

New Blog Post: Web Bucks
Long overdue follow-on to my post on Micropayements, brought on by some recent events.
Disappointed to find that a Wikipedia page about an old project i did is gone. I made a bunch of decisions years ago about not keeping the site or domain or etc alive because i figured the Wikipedia article would always be there. Guess not.
Nice recenttish post by @anildash that resonates with me
Lots of Pittsburgh looked like a post apocalyptic movie last night after the storm. Where i am we have no power or cell service still and i heard someone say it might take days yet to get everything back to normal.
@cwebber How do you feel about the Rescue Rangers theme song?
@brucelawson @evan *strong* yes! ☺️ Happy Birthday
Great statement at #blinkon by @cdub
"Chrome is the 4th browser I've worked on. They've all had majority market share. 2 of them don't even exist anymore. The web platform remains. It outlives browsers, engines, companies even."
It's that time of year when I look at how @igalia
is stacking up in open source contributions... If it was a Friends episode it would be "The One with the Charts"
What do you use for creating/maintaining your blog? Is it custom or out of the box? Do you ever think about changing it?
Show me your best accessible carousel web component.
If you put some math into a regular old google search it presents you a whole solver with, in this case, 30 <math> tags rendering MathML natively (h/t @dginev)
MathML implementations in browsers has been the tireless work of volunteers and for the last several years @igalia funded by a patchwork of investments, a couple of minor sponsorships, grant, and now exclusively by the collective below & Igalia itself.
Idk web engines: seems worth investing in :)
