Writing a videogame is doable. Should be fun. But going by Itch.io and Steam metrics this is a saturated market. And the product becoming an overnight indie hit like Minecraft or Palworld isn't going to happen to the type of game I am able to write.

@freemo I may be too Dutch to tip at all, ever. I dunno.

Back in Berlin we tipped 1 euro cent because of the terrible service and food we received.

In Eastern Europe I've seen bars and restaurants charging a 10% service fee, which usually is not allowed by law, and is a tip by another name.

@rchrd @freemo The deliverers here usually drive company branded ebikes, branded cars, if they aren't using rental bikes. But this is something for "big" city for Dutch standards. So I don't think their costs for wear and tear applies here.

@freemo I will keep you posted. Hardware fabrication is new to me, so maybe this is nice new hobby to throw money against. ;-)

A recent post made by @freemo and his split keyboard (https://mastodon.nl/@freemo@qoto.org/111377477128629607) triggered me to look into Split mechanical keyboards. I am currently fielding the *takes a deep breath* Kinesis Gaming Freestyle Edge RGB (https://gaming.kinesis-ergo.com/edge/), and it is great for me. Near perfect. But not perfect yet.

So I am wondering if I should work as-is with it, or start a new fun hobby of creating new keyboards that fit my specifications. 🤔
