@Seth Good points. If Rock doesn't want to go against Roman, it makes sense for him to remain heel indefinitely but I can't imagine Rock would want to do that. And I don't think he should wrestle at WrestleMania once, never mind twice; refereeing would be better, and sell Roman-Rock for another PPV. Rock wouldn't do two consecutive nights - Roman could, but don't think they'd want to announce the match on the second night with only 24 hours' notice.

Okay, will say it: The most obvious route forward for WWE on their current story is for The Rock to be made special referee for a WrestleMania main event between challenger Cody Rhodes and champion Roman Reigns...and call it straight down the line, giving the belt to Cody, raising Roman's ire, and leading to a heated match where Roman beats Rock (and it doesn't have to be a clean win). That way, the damage done so far can be limited, and all involved parties can benefit.
