My current struggle is finding work. The #InfoSec world needs humans now more than ever but I am amazed that zero hiring is happening for anyone I know.

It’s frustrating to see my partner who doesn’t want to work have more work than she can handle but I can’t even get a call or interview. I have more credentials and certifications, I have more experience in Information Assurance, I have more time working in tech by double. She has 2 things I don’t have 10 years at GitHub and Microsoft. My 13 years at SAP do not come close to having GitHub on my resume.

I am happy she has stuff moving forward and work till she doesn’t want to but I would really like to work some so she can retire and chase crows all day.

If anyone has some Compliance, Controls, ISMS, TPRM, Audit or any other InfoSec domain related work, I would love a shot to help out.

Full time, part time, contract, project, freelance, you name it. C2C, W2, 1099, goats and chickens, or any other method of employment.

@neurovagrant crime fits the punishment in this case. I would have laughed through signing them knowing someone got paid to make this happen. The corporate engine briefly stopped, a risk assessment as made, good chance legal called. That prank cost more to the system than 90 cat heads .

Just logged into the infosec.exchange webpage vs. Ivory and got a notice to turn on 2FA and I am surprised it was not turned on.

If you are on a instance that supports MFA, please make sure your account is setup. If the InfoSec server says it is long past time we do it, you all on other instances need to heed the call.

It’s pretty discouraging looking for any type of work at the moment.
