Well my <1yr old Dell Inspiron appears to have died for real this time. Pray that it mysteriously starts working again lest I finish out the semester on my previous previous laptop that's probably old enough to vote by now. And if you're in the market for a laptop, consider any other brand. I'd trade it for an HP rn.

I'm so done with #java. Never have I encountered such an obtuse language ecosystem. Every other language I've ever used actually has some usable, first-party documentation when I google: "<library name> <common use case>". But no, not Java.

I cannot begin to comprehend why most people are so resistant to installing #signal.

Most of my contacts won't even try it. A few humor me. 6-8 use it regularly, 2 recommend it to others.

I try not to be obnoxious about it, but it's great and people won't even bother with it.

@evan Define "prepared" and "disaster". Blizzard, sure. Power outage, sure. Asteroid, zombies, mass hysteria, no. Also really depends on whether I'm at school or home.
