war thunder's grind is part of the game but it also means that most of the people that play it aren't ever gonna really get to enjoy the differences in the tiers and the evolution in technology that it purports to model.

I think it's better to lock the fun behind skill curves/learning the systems of the game. Kinda like helldivers 2 did or ninja gaiden or any of those sorts of games

you can grow to like being in that sort of system. Just like you can grow to like being in any sort of system with known boundaries and hierarchies. It's comfortable.

I do not particularly care for that scene. Just a couple steps away from the demo derby and mud runs. But sure the dedication and aptitude is impressive. They have to basically rebuild everything after each run as I understand it
