    @creamqueen @skylar yeah that's retarded. I only recommend it when someone asks or they are complaining about windows a lot (windows 11 is what made me finally jump ship for personal use)

    I am again reminded that linux remains out of the mainstream because its average user is incapable of understanding that digging around in wiki pages pasting random urls into your terminal is a bad user experience.

    I treat Fedora like I treat Vim: I swear by it but I don't recommend it to anybody but a select few.

    @Nudhul @asa @why honorable goal. PopOS was basically made for gaming so you could try that, but disclaimer that I don't have much experience with it.

    ZorinOS is the closest to "out of the box windows" experience I've seen but I did have trouble installing some specific pieces of development software on it. That probably won't matter to you.

    I'm not interested in politics outside of the proposed changes in public health policy because that obviously effects everyone on a personal level. It's a thing that ideally shouldn't even be a political issue, and for the most part it really hasn't been until covid.
