Erin Reed says: “Public comment is now open for passport gender marker changes. You can go here to go to each of the three proposed passport rules, and submit comment. My suggestion: be unique, argue for trans-inclusive policies, against the constitutionality of the changes, etc.”

"I believe that there will be a clash between those who want freedom, justice and equality for everyone and those who want to continue the systems of exploitation."

May we all keep finding ways to do the same, and live long enough to see the fruits of our collective labor.
Right now the US government is literally stripping away our history. They're erasing or attempting to erase Black history, Indigenous history, queer history, trans history…
This is when we step up and share our stories. We are the history keepers, the way people have kept history for century after century, after century. That's our job now. And we do not cede our history to fascists and oligarchs.
And just because they are trying to erase our history does not mean we're not here now. And it never means that we do not have a future. We do have a future. We have a future to build together in solidarity. Blessed be.
“By not getting trapped in the churn of terrifying news, by keeping my energy and intention a bit more clear, I have more help to offer those in greater need.

Portland OR: Community organizer Tuesday Longway needs help. He feeds unhoused people, refurbishes and redistributes computers for free, fights fascists, and offers a host of other community support.
As he says, “It’s Black History Month and I can’t even pay my rent on time. This country hates Black men so much I’m not even able to find work of any kind right now.”
If you have a spare $20, his Venmo is @ TuesdayLongway
