@br00t4c well this is excellent news, finally this absolute prick of a man is trapped behind a paywall, so the likelihood of me accidentally reading one of his absolute pieces of bullshit nonsense will be highly unlikely now...

@br00t4c Honda suck, they push the narrative of reliability but refused to honour the warranty on a car I bought from them, couldn't sell the piece of crap fast enough, I wouldn't touch another one if they paid me...

@br00t4c it's not the cost that bothers me with new electric cars is the data scraping and lack of privacy controls and privacy law restrictions around these technical nightmares, not to mention the monopolisation of servicing support options and choices around apps and technical services, you buy an electric car you are stuck with that provider for life, plus a car from the 1960s still works fine but I can't imagine an electric car still working in 60 years time...

@GeofCox @Remittancegirl it was the takeover of newspapers by Murdoch that started the rot in journalism & news entertainment and factually shaky stories designed to inflame emotion rather than inform the nations. He was the first person to manipulate news for his own ends and the ends of the rich and Powerful, that's why loads of billionaires started buying newspapers and TV stations, even though a fair few of them run at a loss...

@br00t4c my dad died & my mum moved on, but his daughters wouldn't accept her so they abused her, he wouldn't defend his new wife so they both sold their houses & moved away, unfortunately I was living in her house still, she never told me she was selling & told the estate agent to show the house during the day while I was working, the first I knew about it was finding it in the paper, I confronted her & she told me to get out & destroyed all my possessions, we haven't spoken in 18 years...

@br00t4c it was a Nazi salute, he did it on purpose, he will deny it, but it happened, he planned it so as to flood the news agenda with outrage, don't let him get his way. Remember that hand signals & words are going to happen, we can't stop those, but we can control how we react to them...
