    Message from the teachers' union urging members to remember that even though the shooter had mental health issues, his Gender Identity was a pure and authentic part of him and trans people are not dangerous and violent even when they are.

    Insulting messaging, really. If teachers were questioning gender ideology, the argument is weak. The point of the post is not to persuade but to enforce social taboo of straying from groupthink, you bigot.

    Sigh. Inclusive language assignment.
    The word aboriginal is out of favour in Canada. Use Indigenous instead.
    Ok, fine.
    Except I keep seeing these explanations that 'aboriginal' is Latin for "NOT ORIGINAL", and that's wrong. Ab means from. aboriginal = from the original.
    The single letter 'a' means not, as in asexual.
    It's easy to check this if you google 'etymology of aboriginal'.
    Also, Europeans going to another land and calling the people there 'unoriginal' doesn't make any sense.
    But, I think bringing this up in class would not go over well.

    I looked up 'men sexting online dating' and there are lots of threads about it. Women saying they don't like it when men send sexual messages right away, men defending it, generally. Or angry 'nice guys' who think that women owe them favours for asking about their lives.

    One female commenter said 'they are using it like live porn', which is upsetting.

    More than one man claims that the conversation gets boring without some sexual content. Moreover, that women get bored.
    But... there are lots of things to talk about. Getting to know what someone is about isn't boring.

    Dick pics are boring. 'Your hot' is boring.
    All sex talk seems about the same to me, and women online get inundated with it.

    Anyways, it is just super weird to me that anyone would go for that kind of approach.

    I was a Stardew Valley junkie and I bought Roots of Pacha to try to get that same farming fix. It's not as good but I keep playing it. The order of inventing new technologies makes no sense but I try to ignore that.
