today is Flag Day in the U.S.

we have a lovely, unused flag in the other upstairs bedroom’s walk-in closet.

we have a flagpole bracket just to the left of our front door. it has a pole.

alas, it appears like someone jumped up and grabbed it by the end, bending it completely out of shape.

if I can find a flagpole of the right size on today’s errands run, I’m going to lobby heavily for its purchase.

while I often loathe my government, I love my country, and don’t mind showing it.

thanks for your help, but none of them worked even as well as Metatext. the official app said, “that username is already taken.” several wouldn’t let me post anything after logging in, and one wanted lots of money on a subscription basis. I wouldn’t object to passing on some bucks now and then, but I’m a musician living in a musical wasteland. I don’t make much money.

maybe I’ll just blog it on my Ko-Fi page and post that link.
