@sandalphon I'm really tired of people claiming common or reasonable experiences are symptoms. "You DEFINITELY have ADHD if you don't make your bed 365 days a year!"
@Yhe_XX_Estate Certain people solipsistically believe that when THEY don't care about something anymore or at all, it shouldn't matter to anyone else either.

Jerrica makes artI wish June could go back to being a fun summer month and not this corporate progress rainbow-soaked hellscape. I wish the genderspecial in my family would get over this adult phase (please let it be a phase). Make a profile pic that doesn't hit me with him thinking he's kind of a woman and kind of gay when he's absolutely not every time he sends a stupid meme. That he'd stop overtly cooing over same-sex couples on tv like the "good ally" he pretends to be, and stop ruining everything I watch by mentioning how "problematic" this or that is. I wish my mother wasn't falling in line with gender BS. I wish I wasn't forced to think about TQs and their foolish ideas every other day of the week.
@FeartnTired Stereotypical femininity only bothers me if it's in excess and overtly sexualized, I suppose. I enjoy plenty of "feminine" things and "masculine" things, and it's pointless to attempt to quantify my "gender preference" or whatever. Which is why I value the constancy of biological sex and am annoyed by the vagaries of contemporary gender. I think an example is this one participant on US What Not To Wear. She disturbed me because she was playing the "sex-doll bimbo" and the facade NEVER dropped through the whole episode. Not even after her makeover, which involved toning down her sexed-up, male gazey look. Doing so "ironically" has its own problems, but she seemed genuinely invested in this persona. She kept her lips frozen in the duck face position on camera to the detriment of her speaking voice, that’s how bad it was. That's the sort of "femininity" I struggle to condone.
@kj00 "-More important than having him in MY life-" emphasis mine. Because that's what people who shouldn't be parents have kids for. They don't actually care about the kid as an individual. They selfishly treat children like their personal affection dispensers.
I watched a few ContraPoints videos back in the day and this is what ultimately made me conclude I dislike them (aside from having to listen to Wynn's annoying voice for over 20 minutes). Any "generosity" Contra gave to the side he was not on was a biased, disingenuous facade. Anyway, I liked this article.
