@britt Yesterday was wild. Looking outside my window yesterday afternoon reminded me of peering at a window during Hurricane Ike. Strong winds, water misting on rooftops as it was being blown by the wind.
I was skeptical to head down to a Twitch Vancouver meetup as the storm progressed. Around 6:45pm was a window of light rain. The transit was calm both ways. I made it home, safe (and soaked).
Today is the second wind (no pun intended) for this storm.
I popped by #TwitchVancouver meetup @ #BlackbirdInteractive for a couple of hours. Met some amazing streamers & played some amazing indie tech demos. I would have stayed longer but the threat of atmospheric rain was still active outside.
In all honesty, at the rate #PlayStation is porting their #PS4#PS5 portfolio to #PC, am I wrong to say that I don’t really need a PS5?
I’m on the PC<->XBOX ecosystem (Switch as well, sure). I feel like adding a PS5 (or an XBOX if you own a PS5) is pretty redundant at this point. It isn’t the same as it was during the PS3/XBOX 360/Wii era.
Say what you will about @mkbhd but this just infuriates me to no end. I dunno, should we start labeling “voice hijacking” (via AI) as some form of identity theft?
As a kid, I would watch Saturday Morning Cartoons. But as an avid basketball fan, I would also watch #NBAInsideStuff. It was a rated-G version of NBA on TNT (Shaq & Charles would always cause chaos & shenanigans--see: "Charles Barkley Shaq Soda").
@britt I hope a lot of the core elements of what made Halo great (CE/1 - Reach) get implemented in this new era of Halo. The old guard took a lot of risks, rushed some parts of the game to meet modern standards & added some things no one asked for.
