@WarnerCrocker I did it after the Brexshit vote.

I’ll still read and watch things that summarise events. Such as the BTC YouTube channel, your weekly list, and a few others.

But there’s no value in me consuming news in real time.

Hell in a hand cart. An expression a lot of the news recently engenders.

My solution is to avoid the news as much as possible. It’s worked before. Nothing I can do will influence the fuckwittery that is the news from around d the world.

@WarnerCrocker I think in France the media blackout starts the day before polling. I may be wrong. It’s just the day of polling here, and ends when the polls close. We’ve only one timezone, which makes it easier.

It was the night before polling day. And across the shires many Tories were fretting…

Media blackout starts at midnight. No more election stuff on the news until 22:00 on Thursday night.
