That orange raving maniac in the front yard only believes in hard power and has, in fact, withdrawn most of the forms of soft power the US was performing. Not a recipe for stability, but he knows he only has a few years left, and the mask, such as it was, is off.

It just drives me utterly bats when the far right ideologues go nuts and then insist that it's we, the rational majority, that are somehow in the wrong. Okay, rant over :blobcatsnuggle:

@gougoudoggo To me, it is similar to being a person's acquaintance. Not quite a friend, but not a stranger, either. But a friendship could grow from it.
