I "love" ordering things from sites and not realizing that I'm actually ordering from someone completely unrelated to that site. Stores aren't even stores on the Internet anymore.

Currently its a race between an item from AliExpress coming from Shenzen, CN vs NewEgg coming from Ontario, CA.

@rpaulo Do you know if anyone took a look at doing a port of #freebsd #arm over to the BannaPi? That's one of the things that's coming over from AliExpress.

Dragged my old reliable RPI2 model B out of the closet and jammed an image on an SD card today as I need to do some GPIO<->FPGA bits and I remembered I had one floating around.

This thing is from the days when @erikarn was teaching many of us in the #freebsd community how to do things and or stuff with hardware that was not X86.

It fired right up, and is ready to do my bidding once again:

@thomasfuchs trying to do the same at the moment. My home lab turned into a bit of a museum during lockdowns and I’m actually enjoying a much smaller set of machines than I own.
