Not spending money on a laptop I didn’t need means I can buy a new mountain bike and that I can appreciate the little laptop I do have now that it’s got Linux and is geared up for writing. Also bought a Leuchtturm notebook for writing novels first by hand. I’m figuring out what’s best for me and going with what feels right. Finally respecting my body and mind. I don’t do New Year’s resolutions because I’m always improving but I think this is going to be a transformative year.

It’s amazing what having a healthier minimalist relationship with technology and the internet is doing for me. Not to mention the year of intensive therapy for PTSD under my belt. Going to try to have less handholding going forward. And give away a lot of things.

they don't even have to be obvious. if enough people are doing it for long enough, the foundations beneath power structures will erode, and it will all come crumbling down.

They’re shitting themselves because ads are a failed revenue model and rather than figure out a new way to do business, they want to kill the open internet. #3dprinting friends can you help me diagnose the issue? filament keeps coming out corkscrewed onto the heatbed, which causes failed prints before the first layer is even up (filament twisting back on the nozzle and globbing up)

seems like an issue inside the extruder?

also whenever i unload filament, the part that comes back out of the extruder already has spiral patterns pressed into it but to a much lesser extent. not like that before entering.

maybe it's an issue with the entire hotend? just put on a new nozzle and it didn't help
