so the thing i'm working on can be used by domestic violence victims, people wanting to augment/complement their home security systems (camera, surveillance etc) with signal intelligence data so things/devices/people that can't be seen visually can still be "heard" and triangulated, and i suppose "tactical" teams of sorts.

my primary motivation was a dangerous DV situation i experienced. i had the idea that the person might come around and their phone would automatically connect to wifi

so i had an alert set to where if their device showed up on my networks and did a dhcp request or made any dns queries, that i'd get an alert. it's went from there to something much more comprehensive. i think certain groups of people would find this type of alerting useful if made accessible and easy to do, which is what i'm making right now.

will likely open source it soon for help. might eventually do PCBs and official devices to sale/give support for.

already has ~500 individual data set and is working to determine what is stable/ephemeral and normal/suspicious. it learns as it runs and applies heuristics to determine what is constant and expected in an environment and what is just passing through or exhibiting strange behavioral traits. it'll automatically flag all high risk signals for review and provide data.

Imagine if all the money being put into "AI" was used for wildlife conservation, climate restoration and stabilization, universal health care, universal basic income, scientific research, education, renewables.

Some of these areas would be permanently world-altering in a positive way if they received that kind of funding.

there's a reason i've always been unapologetically anti-religion and constantly give dire warnings about it.

so when i see people like Doug Wilson out in the world, out of the shadows, it's like someone opened up the gates so the demons could finally escape.

these kinds of people are what i grew up around, and it's what i left behind. i never thought that people would be stupid enough to let them get so far as to being imminent and influential directly on the govt itself.
