@multiverseofbadness I had a couple of long-term friendships fizzle out through twitter. Oddly enough, after I sucked them into wrestling fandom. One in particular got moderately famous and started Big Leaguing me. Again, nothing of value was lost.

This past weekend marked one year since I finally deleted my twitter account for good. Nothing of value was lost; on the contrary, it proved to be a catalyst for some very clean, non-confrontational breaks from former friends.

On what would have been Kurt Cobain's 57th birthday.

It's hard to put into words how much I care about Nirvana's music. They were the second musical act I gravitated to. I listened to their albums, long after Cobain's passing, to see them go from cool to passé to timeless classics.

A part of me selfishly wishes Kurt Cobain was still alive so that I could see him as an acoustic solo act at Festival of Friends or something.

Happy Birthday, Kurt Cobain. You would have hated it here.

Full Disclosure: I am a MASSIVE X-Men fan. I've watched every movie, and loved (almost) all of them. I worried, when Disney acquired 20th Fox, Dark Phoenix would be my last taste of this universe.

And then I saw the trailer for Deadpool and Wolverine tonight, and my bloods a-pumpin'! I don't know what Disney will do with X-Men after, but I am going to watch the hell out of this movie.
