I cannot drink diet soda. It is vile.

BUT in a desperate bid to find a sugar-free, non-coffee caffeinated beverage for migraine relief, I recently discovered that I can tolerate Dr Pepper Zero Sugar if it is the temperature of glacial runoff.

@thomasfuchs I totally agree with this! I still lean heavily on Amazon even though it's also abhorrent. No ethical consumption under capitalism etc etc

I wish I didn't hate Spotify as a business because their recommendation engine is so good.

The fact that people can post entire essays on ex-Twitter now is so wild to me.

When I see people call for banning all cars and/or making major streets pedestrian parks, I wonder how much they're thinking about accessibility. Accessibility means clear paths for wheelchairs, sure, but it also means real seating at frequent intervals where people can stop and rest.

Banning cars means caring for unhoused people and ending people-hostile urban design.

I know almost everyone thinks their pets are the best, but Fate was the best girl in the world. I can't believe we have to carry on without her.

Yesterday, my pain management doc was like, "People with lower back pain often experience depression," and, like, no shit.

My mother-in-law died three weeks ago. We've found good homes for most of her pets, but Sweet Mamma and Baby still need a new family.

They love each other a lot and neither would thrive alone, so we need one home for both of them. They both excel at purring and they're very affectionate (with humans and each other).
