Autodidacticism is a very valuable skill to possess and to pursue. I've done so my entire life...and the internet makes it vastly easier.
But it isn't the same thing as education, which has a social aspect that, by and large, the internet does not provide.

Well, I'm going to say:
ethics may oblige you to resist/oppose,
the magnitude of the wrong may justify certain levels of resistance/opposition,
but pragmatic considerations (including likely efficaciousness) should enter into the decision whether resistance should take the form of violence.
