It is weird that London Drugs is one of the better selections of board games around. For USians, this is like a CVS or a Walgreens but they inexplicably have a pretty solid selection of board games year round.

Remembering that time in High School that I said to the chorus director, maybe we shouldn’t sing super Christian songs since we’re a public school. And he responded by having us close our eyes and asking anyone who has an issue with it to raise our hands. I raised my hand and so did a jewish girl in my class (I peeked). @kingrat I’m not sure I buy it. I’ve worked in enough companies to know that there is rarely a decision made without 5+ meetings and 15+ “stakeholders” weighing in. Whenever a company goes in for something controversial and claims ignorance, I think what they’re really saying is “yeah some people brought that up but we decided to do this anyway”

So, CGE is blocking trans people who make level-headed reasonable comments about the situation, as well as major reviewers and designers who have mentioned the issue. They’re really prepared to torch their goodwill in the hobby space for that Harry Potter money.
