You lose understanding the OP. It's not about whether AI is right or wrong or should exist. It's about the fact that it's not going away and how should we adapt to this fact and potentially push it in the right direction.

Unfortunately, AI is here to stay and it's growing in it's abilities exponentially. What are some positive uses for it that could benefit the everyday person?
Also, before you get mad. I'm old enough to remember when popular sentiment was that the internet and PC's were stupid and for nerds. So don't put your head in the sand over this.

I grew up in America and I explicitly remember schools not treating computers as a real future or marketable skill in the early 2000's. More as a consumer funtoy no different than a Nintendo 64.
I think this same logic is being used about AI but I've seen it take a huge leap in abilities in just one year. Is it flawed, of course, all technology is flawed. However it will continue to be refined and it's not going away no matter how much people hate it. I think the correct prevailing attitude should be to learn about it and adapt to the future.

AI is designed to replace stupid people's jobs and menial tasks. It will perform very well in this application and save corpos billions. The stupid people will revolt and probably need AI robots to cull them. I see this as a win/win
