The weekly Atheists of Utah Sunday coffee meetup was small today but the conversation was good. I don't attend nearly as often as I'd like but it's always great to see and talk to everyone.
@jacklaridian Which I understand but when my kids or I have to breathe it because they can't be bothered to take it farther away or pay attention to which way the wind is blowing, I really don't care.
@jacklaridian Thanks. It's a point of pride for me that, in spite of everything, I've had the willpower to not go too far down that road. But that's beside the point. I don't want to breathe that shit and I especially don't want my kids having to breathe it, so smokers who light up anywhere near a public space can fuck right off.
🚭 Smokers are so fucking gross. The law here (Utah) may say 25 feet from any entrance or other opening where smoking is banned but it should say you have to take your nasty shit 25 miles from any other set of lungs. 🤢
I'm not an angry person but the second some smoker lights up and releases Satan's fart cloud, forcing everyone around them to choke on it, I get pissed.
Considering trying to get into #acting. We live near a playhouse so gonna see if I can just volunteer there on the weekends doing set work or something to test the waters and get some #advice from the #actors.
The thing is that I discovered that I enjoy acting while performing in a "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves" parody play waaay back in 8th grade but my low self-esteem issues led me away from pursuing it after being mocked by some assho… uh, other kids. I've always regretted letting them get in my head.
Now, playing #DnD has rekindled my interest, plus I've gotten much better at not giving a shit about others' opinions. 😂
