"[Herr X] wird zeigen, wie Unternehmen #GPT für ihre #Webseiten, #SEO und Image-#Filme nutzen können."
Wenn ich wirklich Text für Webseiten, SEO oder Imagefilme Text brauche, will ich wahrscheinlich kein Blabla von #ChatGPT und Freunden generieren lassen.
#ChatGPT made a huge impact when it debuted in late 2022, and as 2023 has begun, #AI has been a big deal for big tech. It’s also restarting the #browser wars, as #Opera is adding direct integration with ChatGPT, challenging both #Microsoft and #Google. https://tchlp.com/3IgXemr
People are chattering are how bad it's going to be as #ChatGPT starts ingesting it's own AI-generated output as "truth".
But we are already living in AI feedback loops, like when we listen to #Spotify's recommended tracks, and it uses that new listening behavior to make the next recommendation.
It doesn't get better and better over time, it gets narrower and narrower. And to the extent it mixes in "what's popular", some flukes are getting highly recommended while some good music is missed.
If anyone missed it, yesterday I've setup a simple #ChatGPT wrapper that allows you to play with the chatbot without the need for an account :ablobwink:
It also has translation and a text-2-voice feature (it's funny)|. It's running on my free API key and I have no idea what the limits are but it's still running :blobcathighfive:
As some relief from #ChatGPT, please see this surprise from the garden today. It’s Hoya carnosa, also known as the honey plant, porcelain flower and wax flower. #florespondence@plants
@fchollet pointed out (on Twitter, boo!) that #ChatGPT correctly thinks that 3458467549867459867492 is not a prime, but also thinks it is such a large number (over 50 digits) that its primality can not be proved.
"So while it is possible that 3458467549867459867492 has a small factor, it is unlikely."
#ChatGPT has been upgraded with a mathematical model and it no longer trips up (easily, at least) on questions involving unit conversions. It's extremely slow to respond though (overloaded?) and comes up with completely unrelated answers for a new class of questions. This doesn't seem like a model-derived issue, rather than some kind of bug in the chat system implementation. Perhaps my session was mixed up with someone else's?
With the announcement of the new #ChatGPT text classifier OpenAI also published a new page in their documentation library specifically aimed at educators.
Question sur #chatgpt c'est quoi les prérequis pour utiliser - inscription - email ? - donner son téléphone ? - Donner son code de carte bancaire - Donner sa date de naissance ? - Donner son numéro d'assurance ?
#ChatGPT and other AI-based stuff like Midjourney, Copilot, etc, are going to create a denial of service attack against our collective ability to process information.
I believe this is already happening in academia and other fields where people can submit text co-written by ChatGPT and pretend it's their own. Teachers will have all sorts of problems with students claiming ChatGPT-generated texts are theirs.
But it goes further. Works created with these models will end up in courts, a lot.
