There's still more that #Biden has to do to stop being an anchor on this election for anti-fascists, namely, ending the genocide in #Gaza which *cost* him his campaign.

The next set of Israeli atrocities will be an anchor around the neck of Harris or anyone on the dem ticket.

It won't stop fascists from trying fascist things, but that's a given, and you just can't be evaluating important decisions based on whatever deranged logic Republicans unmoored from reality are going to throw at you on any given day. They will keep trying no matter what you do, so you should better do your very best at all times.

So, #JoeBiden is apparently stepping down, and apparently there IS a process they are able to cobble together to replace him by the #DemocraticConvention. Cool.

Personally, I like #Biden, and I was fine with him staying in the race. I think we forget that the corporate media is not our friend, and that we give them too much power when we let them spending 3 whole weeks obsessing over a stutter, rather than reporting on #Trump saying "crazy shit", push us to make risky moves.

That said, as I've said always, I did not expect Biden to run again, and I will support ANYONE who is running against Trump and his followers. I'll vote for #KamalaHarris, I'll vote for Oprah, hell I'd even vote for Hillary Clinton.

We need to remember, and to keep saying wherever we have a platform, that this #election is more important than electing any one leader, it's about #democracy and #freedom.

I have always and will always stand with ANYONE who stands against Trump.

All 50 Democratic Party state chairs have thrown their weight behind Vice President #KamalaHarris to be the party's new presidential nominee, acc/to sources.

The chairs held a conference call on Sun after #POTUS #Biden announced he was stepping aside as the party's candidate.

There is "full support" in backing Harris to be at the top of the ticket, one source said.
