Returned from the hospital. The surgery of the second eye went well. Both cataracts have been removed and I can see with both eyes at the same acuity. Even though the world now appears in a harsh bluish light, it's the first time in more than 50 yeras that I can see her without glasses. Strange. And pretty lovely. (I won't get into the astounding unprofessionality of the eye clinic's staff. The surgeon did a good job but administration and care have awful.)
