Part of the problem with any argument about free will is needing to define it first. Unfortunately, this often goes unspoken with different ideas of what it actually is being argued for. Also unfortunately, the most common definition is that it is some ineffable, romantic thing that is difficult or impossible to understand. "The heart has reasons that reason cannot understand." 🤦
