@JillsJoy I didn't, really. But I had someone help me in DMs enough that I could figure it out from the official documentation

In a nutshell:
- if it's just for you to use at home on your own wifi, it's more do-able
- you have to install Plex *and* Plex Media Server
- there is no user interface in the Plex Media Server app itself (UGH WHY)
- to configure the server, you have to use the web interface
