Cliff@raphael We've already shut everything down except the actual Mastodon instance itself which will be happening in the coming days. We have no plans to reverse this decision at this time.
Costs were about $120 a month. That's $40 at MastoHost for a very small 20GB database. Then another $80 for web hosting for the wiki, blog and some other stuff. That part likely could and should have been cheaper.
In the long scheme of things, this wasn't about not being able to afford it. It was about lack of time from both of us for the most part. Plus the fact that we wanted to be fully self-hosted, but just didn't have the time.
As I stated, everything associated with AllThingsTech has now been deleted, including the blog, wiki, accounts such as Ko-Fi, PayPal and several others.
I do appreciate the offer of helping, but we needed that a while back unfortunately.
