Yeah that'd probably do it tbh, but I'm not an expert in the field. I mostly just don't think we need to make shit extinct so we can keep expanding profits, that's about where I stand. Nature requires balance, and reluctantly or not we are part of nature.

This guy went pretty feral and lived with a wolf pack, if he can come up with a better plan than "SHOOT ALL THE THINGS HYUCK HYUCK" then we should definitely expect (and only accept) more competence from the government imo. Not saying that this guy's the source of optimal solutions or anything, but it'd be hard to argue that he doesn't know wolf psychology pretty well.
