Just get the classic old school snap traps. All other options are too cruel. Poisons drive them out (by making them incredibly thirsty) if you worry about them in house but can poison anything that eats the corpses. If you go the snap trap route it's quick, clean and safe any you know you actually got one so it doesn't linger on you mind.
