It explains why a lot of Mussolini's core support base were syndicalists (radical trade unionists). Why xenophobic nationalist regimes led by people like Stalin or Xi Zinping are so easily mistaken as leftist by conservatives. Why people like Joe Rogan, Boris Johnson or Russell Brand can drift from leftish into supporting fascists.
