    @JNogueira Interesting. Usually, channel pinning is a user choice:
    https://guix.gnu.org/manual/devel/en/html_node/Replicating-Guix.html

    Channel authors can also pin dependencies in their own channels (in ‘.guix-channel’) but that’s not a common use case AFAIK.
