Where did I even mention the retail worker who is not responsible for this situation? I hope you're not just unconsciously projecting what you would in fact do, instead. In my situation, I much appreciated the smile, promptness, and the notorious embarrassment the worker had. Only the first one should be needed as I was greeted and told "come back soon". :)
